My journey with the IEEE BIT MESRA Student Chapter began as a Member and culminated in serving as Vice Chairman. Initially, I organized flagship events, designed posters, and taught at workshops while participating in global sessions through the IEEE Kolkata Section. As Joint Secretary, I took on greater responsibility, coordinating events to foster community and teaching C/C++ and Data Structures to peers. Eventually, as Vice Chairman, I planned event calendars and budgets, conducted monthly meetings, collaborated with external EdTech organizations for workshops, and assigned roles to encourage member growth. This progressive experience profoundly shaped my teamwork, leadership, and organizational skills while allowing me to guide the club towards new heights.
